Under Construction
Starting Friday 11th, the front play yards are going to be under
construction. We have a company coming out to excavate some dirt for
us, and bring in more wood play chips. Our goal is to eventually get
bigger play structures in the front, something that is cemented in,
unfortunately they are pretty spendy, anywhere from $3000 to $10,000
each so it might take some time before we can get these put in. We would
appreciate any help with finding some budget friendly structures, so if
anyone has any ideas just let Miss Tara know.
Please excuse the mess as we work to improve the front play yards.
Field Trips
This summer the Preschool Classes would like to plan a couple of field
trips, but unfortunately we cannot do that without the help of some
parents who would be willing to drive. If you are interested, please
talk to one of the Preschool teachers or Miss Tara for more information.
We want to be sure and plan far enough in advance.

Babysitting
Service
An
older sibling of one of our students is looking to do some babysitting
this summer. Her name is Kayleigh, she is 14 and is CPR/1st Aid
certified and HIV/BBP certified as well. If you are interested in
getting away for and evening or afternoon, give her a call at 825-8815

Referrals
We believe that our best advertising comes from our clients, therefore
we have a great referral system!
Refer someone to our facility, and if
they enroll their child(ren), then we will deduct
$100
from your next month’s tuition!

Please remember to write down the books you read with your child and
bring in the list the last day your child attends school each week so
they can get a
PRIZE!
**Show and Tell is
EVERY Friday for each classroom,excluding the Infant Room**
Book Orders
There are no book orders during the summer months, they will start up
again in September.
Extra Clothes &
Labeling
Please check your
child’s cubby and replace any Winter clothes with Spring/Summer
clothes. Also, please be sure to label your child’s clothing before
brining them to school, we have had some cases of mixed up clothing and
our Lost & Found bin is pretty full.
Fall Registration
This month we will be handing out the new Fall Registration Packets that
have the newly updated Parent Handbook enclosed. This packet, along
with the $65 Registration fee will be due by September 1st to ensure
that your child will have a spot for the 2008-2009 school year. If the
packet is not returned by 9/1/08, then we cannot guarantee that your
child will have a spot for the upcoming school year. Those children who
are moving on to another classroom will make the move in September.
Teacher In-Service
Day
We
will be having a Teacher In-Service day on Friday August 29th.
The center will be
CLOSED
that day so that we can take the time
to clean, organize, and decorate for the upcoming new school year. We
wanted all the parents to have enough of a notice to make other
arrangements for child care on that day. We are also closed on Labor
Day, 9/1/08, so we will re-open on Tues. Sept. 2nd at normal operating
hours.
